Awesome job! I thought it was really clever that the loop theme revolved around a perk mechanic, because it creates a loop that is by no means repetitive despite the player respawning. You did a good job building a loop-based game that still felt very rewarding to the player. I also loved the artwork and sound--together, they created a really interesting effect that was reminiscent of ancient Egypt games, but framed in a post-apocalyptic, high-tech setting. Overall, really cool vibe and really cool gameplay!
Really fun game. I love the fact that you have to unlock each element of gameplay ! I love the aesthetic of the game
This was a fun little metroidvania kind of game, with interesting platform mechanics :) I liked how all the abilities felt very different and that you made really different kinds of challenges for each ability. The music and art were also really great and made for an amazing atmosphere! The platforming itself was sometimes a bit janky. For example, often I would fall down after dashing towards a platform even though it really looked like I would land on the platform. Or enemies would kill me while they didnt even attack me. Overall I still really enjoyed it though! Really well done :D
Nice game! It reminds me of old platformer and adventure games. The art is nice too. Adding more sound effects (e.g. walking sound) would have made the game even better. Anyway, I like that you gain new abilities by exploring. The world was interesting to explore. Good job!
The idea is really cool and the game looks beautiful. The only problem is... the jump button doesn't work for me! Therefore I wasn't able to play the game unfortunately, which is a shame!
Jump is the first power up ;)
Oh I see, then I'll try it again later tonight!
By the way, it would be really cool if you could also play my game and rate it! :D
The jump function didn't work for me unfortunately :( Seems like a cool game though! Love the cover art
tyyy :D <3
The game is nice and the looping theme is definitely there! I like the artstyle and the music is also very well done. Congrats on your submission!
I couldn't finish the game because it's impossible, i don't like the zones where they trap you and the only thing you can do is die and restart. I liked the rest of the game.
Im going to be honest i did not finish the game i rage quited i was going into this game thinking i would finish it but ive spent 10 mins on the third section the it was just too long and the first jump to get there is dumb cause if you fail you fall down to the first section of the game, thats the main issue with the game other things like the player feels too floaty and if you jump but hit one pixle you fall down the dashing feels like it goes way to far and the death animation takes to long for the player and if i killed the enemy i want to be able walk past them instantly and last thing it doesnt fit the theme to me, but i must say i like the art and the music but yeah its just practice and i belive next time you guys will do better!
thanks for such an honest and extensive feedback, we really appreciate it! we will work on an update after the voting period
Great to hear I also really do believe this game has potential and sorry if I was too negative😅 just had frustrating experiences with other games before I played yours.
No worries 😎 the feedback is there and, as developers, we have to read between lines to understand what went wrong
