How does your game fit the theme?
Our idea to match the theme was to create interactions between a massive player (the Colossus) and a tiny player to solve puzzles and clear levels.

I love the idea. One of the more original games in this jam. Well done!

Developer

Thanks! That's a huge compliment. :)

You managed to squeeze a fair amount of character into this little game. Nice job!

Developer

Thanks, that means a lot for our first game. :)

That was a cool idea... But it would also be fun as multiplayer!!

Woah, 11 hour stream, awesome!

Sorry about the scroll wheel, we had accessibility options planned for full keyboard control but only got partially there. You can move the hand(s) with WASD and use Q and E to select the hand. No button yet for the scroll wheel, other than using a controller.

We would love to add multiplayer in a future version, time was too short to experiment with multiplayer for too long.

Thanks for playing!

Very fun to play, completed the whole game! Good tutorials and UI is great, very polished for a jam game. Also I like the take on the theme. Also the movement for the small-scale character is fun to handle, for the big one is a little slow at the beginning but I think it fits with the whole idea of scale. Very cool game.

Thank you!! Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for completing the whole game! 😊 We heard its a bit on the long side for a jam game, so that means a lot :D

I had a lot of fun playing! The tutorials were detailed and helped me get into the game easily. It would have been nice to have an object in the scene to indicate where the tutorials appear. The checkpoint system was great! It made playing stress-free.
As a player, the movement is very fast and it was fun just to move around. I wish the air controls were freer.
The collision judgment for the Colossus hand worked perfectly, which made me think it was a well polished game. I wish there was a keymapping for quick hand movements, maybe Shift + wheel?
I liked the variety of levels and new gimmicks, and I thought it was clever to use coins to drive the player's behavior. I think it would be even more fun to invite a friend to play two-player!

Thanks for the in-depth review!

Many of the things you mentioned were on our todo list but unfortunately we ran out of time. Hopefully we can add them after the voting period ends in a new build.

Adding a "sprint" for the hands is indeed a good idea, we meant for the Colossus to move pretty slowly but it ended up slower than we intended.

Either way, really glad you liked it!
