Quite fun! the music is very nice too and the visuals do perfectly their job, great work!!
I ended up getting stuck in the level with a large jump because I couldn’t figure out when to dash, and it got boring to try each time while having to redo the path (but I’m sure some people will love that)
Fun jam entry for sure! I felt like I kinda cheesed quite a few early levels with climbing on top of the wall jump blocks, but the challenges of levels like 18 and 20 more than made up for it - solid work with this one y'all, loved the concept, and the execution made for a fun set of puzzles!
Good concept, very fun.
Nice core loop, cool mechanics and nice amount of thought went into the puzzles, great work!
The concept is great, and the 2D to 3D transition is really cool. It was a bit easy, and the planning screen could be more intuitive. Overall, it was fun, but I'd love to see it refined and expanded. Nice work!
This is really neat! I love the look of the 3d levels and that it's set in a bedroom. It's a great way to use the theme. I agree with the other comments that it's a bit easy. It felt like I didn't even need to use all the blocks and I didn't really have to think about where I placed them. As for bugs, I found I could just jump to the top of the wall blocks and walk along them. I would love to see this idea expanded upon! It's really fun!
I thought the 2D to 3D conversion was cool! However, after playing about half the levels, I feel it probably wasn't challenging enough. Pretty much any layout could work if you were good enough at the platforming. Of course, I appreciate that this meant levels could be solved in a variety of ways, I just wish there was a little more problem solving involved!
I would've loved if placement in the 2D planner was more streamlined, such as your block staying selected, or being able to undo. Currently it feels a little too tedious.
Overall a solid game, though! I appreciate it's innovativeness and did have fun with it in general!!
I think this concept is really interesting! I was a little confused by how the planning screen worked. I feel like I should have been able to drag blocks onto the map and place them but I wasn't able to. Whenever I clicked on the left floor area, the number after x would go down so I assumed that something was happening. When I clicked Try, I could see that blocks were placed in the 3d space but I wasn't able to acomodate them. I think the concept is quite neat though, I might give it a retry in case I missed something. Great job overall!
I played your game for the first 13 levels. To be brutally honest; the 2d environment really does not play nicely. I would've really wanted an undo button. Or the ability to deselect the item I am holding. Dragging to place multiple items etc. That being said, the 3d environment works really well, I love the feel of the movement, and the different items you can place work well.
Finally, I dislike the levels. The amount of items youre given is really generous, and that makes the 2d stage more of an exercise of patience than a real challenge. Level 12 was also more of a parkour challenge. I would've much preferred 10 thoroughly thought out levels (though I know full well how hard it is to design a good level (pain))
Please don't take this comment too negatively, overall I actually had some fun with your game. By self-imposing some restrictions on what items to use I had a good time, and I think you also know that having fun is anything but a given when trying out jam games. Well done!
Really cute and overall enjoyable game ! only slight issue was the mouse colliding with the edge of the screen when turning, other than that genuinely great fun :D
