How does your game fit the theme?
The forced perspective changes the scales of items, the mountain's size and the scale up the side represents Scale too. Originally there were supposed to be scales to weigh the player, but those were scrapped.

Absolutely loved the vibe, would fight my anti-virus to play it any day xd
The speedrun timer made me replay it a few times until i got sub 10 mintues (like 9:53)

Thanks for taking the time! If it's any consolation, even my anti-virus doesn't like my game :_)
I always have to tell it to shush

The forced perspective thing is too big brained for me I think but it is incredible from a technical standpoint. I was able to get up past the first room one time but past that I felt like I was throwing stuff at the wall to see what stuck.

Developer

Thanks for trying and commenting! I might change the second level to help teach a bit more after the jam, all of the levels really were the introductory kind you'd see at the start of a game like Portal

Great game! Though I didn't get very far, as the perspective scaling thing wasn't very intuitive >.< Were you supposed to be able to use the scroll wheel to adjust the distance? Because that wasn't working for me D:

Developer

Thanks for trying at least! The perspective mechanics were a bit finnicky, and I'm going to upload a fix after the jam! :)
In terms of the scroll wheel, one of my playtesters did suggest that at the end of the jam, so I'll see if it works well with the game! Thanks for the comment :D

Technically impressive for a jam game. I really like the atmosphere (considering it uses similar colors to my game it is pretty easy to guess that I will like it :D).
Was the radio used as a checkpoint a nod to portal, or am I reading into it too much?

Developer(+1)

Thanks for trying it! The radio was actually not a reference to portal haha but that's a funny coincidence. I just wanted the player to hear checkpoints upcoming, so made it a radio :)

Submitted

Oh, okay, so that was me reading into it too much ^^
Doesn't change the fact that I smiled when I saw it!

This was a really fun puzzler! The world and environment design are so good, they'll definitely stick in my head for some time hehe

The scaling felt really smooth and intuitive too, good job!

My only gripe was how dark some areas were, with even just slight screen glare I was basically running blindly through a black void lmao

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely go back and brighten things up after the jam :)

What a fun little game! Loved the superliminal vibes, 5/5 for creativity. Style also kinda reminds me of portal in a vague way! Not much negatives to be said here, just that it could very well be improved upon in some ways, but i totally understand time crunch! Great game and good luck from a fellow west aussie :D

Developer

I definitely agree! I'm gonna definitely publish a patch after the jam, and who knows from there. Thanks for rating though!

Interesting game. Feels like an inspired game. But well made. Could not finish the game as the controls for scaling the objects felt a bit hard. Also, I could not see where my player stands as there was no shadow of the player. May be fixing these issues will make this game even better. Other than these, this game has potential. Good work!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Sorry about the weird controls, they were a little buggy in the jam version and I couldn't put the fix in in time. :( I haven't heard the player shadow feedback, but thanks,  that would make some areas easier!

Very superliminal. I don't know if you were inspired by that game. Thought the puzzles were good. Was slightly finnicky to learn the mechanic at first.

Developer

Thanks! I was sort of inspired by Superliminal, after I thought of the idea I remembered that game and got inspired by it a bit. Haven't played it though, but I intend to. Sorry about the finnicky mechanics, I've already fixed the main issue causing those(but obviously can't upload it until after the jam). Again, thanks for stopping by!

Really cool game! Loved all the mechanics! Nice job!

Developer

Thank you!

I like it, its similar to superliminal. Scaling objects felt kinda janky sometimes, which made some levels harder than they should be. I also think that more positive atmosphere would help. Other than that i liked the game. Good job. :)

Thanks for the comment!

I really liked the game ! Being able to recreate the superliminal mechanics so well in only 96 hours is impressive. The aesthetic is cool, with the mysterious fog kinda helped with the scaling mechanics which is nice. Loved it, good me hooked until the end :)

Changing the size of objects was a bit finnicky, but overall I enjoyed the experience.

Developer

Yeah, the object's had a bit of a collision issue which I couldn't solve during the time I had, so the hitboxes are a bit larger than it seems.  Thanks for the comment!

The art style and lighting of this game is really amazing. I really liked the main theme of the music it was a good listen! I think I was a bit lost on where to go from the beginning so I couldn't figure out that much. So sorry about that. I really do like the game concept on where it was going and whats going on. Nicely done!

Developer

Thank you!
