How does your game fit the theme?
The fish was to squash and squish. it did not squash and squish due to me not knowing how to program in godot.

You did great for this being your first run with Godot, proud of you for pulling through and submitting a game! I'm glad you're going to continue working on this, I had a ton of fun playing and there's a lot to build on!
OMG his swim animation is hilarious. Whata cute fella.
Becoming stuck on geometry saved me from spikes
top tier
I like the fish face and the artwork is pretty good
Unfortunate that you weren't able to complete the game but the artwork is really nice! I would recommend having a different or a more zoomed out camera to see more of the screen as well. Hope it was a nice experience and looking forward to see your entry next year!
Nice art, sad for the gameplay. I think that when you don't know the engine following a tutorial could be helpfull, there's the wonderfulls Brackey's one on Godot.
The art style is very nice; it's a real shame that the game isn't very polished or finished. But that's how we progress and get to know a game engine ^^

Lots of bugs, but very nice artstyle!
Pretty janky but I like the art! I'm curious as to how the squash and squish mechanic would have worked
Janky gameplay but the art is cute.
Love the banner art for this game! Definitely a few bugs to iron out, it seems like you can't actually fall off the edges of platforms, because there's an invisible wall there.
I also would love to see the camera zoomed out a bit, because when you jump, you're taking a leap of faith as you can no longer see the ground beneath you until it's too late.
