How does your game fit the theme?
Rather than the platforming hero navigating a pre-built level, you play as the minion of the big bad boss who has to build the platforming challenges yourself in preparation for the hero's arrival (the real danger is exploitative employment/unsafe working conditions!).

Very cool. Other than the text bugs that you noted, the game ran well. Nice work!

Very fun yet interesting concept! All I would add is a Main Menu but all in all, Well Done!

Very cool idea.  Like others said I liked that you make the levels more dangerous for yourself as you build.  I did not like the game sometimes stopping to have the boss yell at you, and I think I had a bug where the dialogue kept restarting a the end of the level.  Otherwise cool idea and well executed.  GJ.

Very creative idea! Love the idea of making the level slowly harder for yourself, like a single player version of Ultimate Chicken Horse. Maybe this game is meant to be a chill fun game, but I wish there was a greater penalty for getting hit such as losing health points. I just ended up running past most of the traps hoping they wouldn't hit me instead of thinking about how to carefully get around the level that I built.

Hey, had the same interface issue as the folks below. Overall, a nice entry with a clever idea. But I would work more on controls and interfaces in general. It will make the game way more fluent.

This is a really cool concept. I like how placing the obstacles for the player makes the level harder for you too. I found the throwing controls to be a little awkward, though. Nice work overall!

Thanks for playing our game! The throw controls are something that we had trouble with internally too, and are definitely something I would revisit given the time (or at least allow for key rebinding).

Respect the dedication and hard work put into the game.

Very cute very fun game :) love the constant realization of me making the level harder for myself and then not learning my lesson and adding more obstacles right in my way HAHA.

Thanks for playing our game!

Very nice game! Great idea, cool mechanics. It makes you plan your building order so you don't make it too hard for yourself. Also the fact that you don't completely die makes it less tense and more cozy than a regular hero-platfomer. Very nice!

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
