I really like this idea! It's great that you went beyond just "play as a ghost" and added a really interesting turn-based, strategy element to it. I think you could get a lot of mileage out of this idea if you changed it from the Pac-Man theme into your own unique game. It might also be really cool to impose similar movement rules on each ghost type, so that depending on which ghosts you have in a certain level, your tactics might be wildly different than the previous level. For example, maybe some can only turn certain directions, some move faster/slower, some can dash quickly for a few seconds and then need to rest, or some can respawn while others die permanently if eaten.
The art style was fantastic! This take on pacman and the controls you used were very unique. Everything felt so squishy, it was really fun. I do think the pacman AI was a bit slow at times. I didn't realize it had picked up one of the pellets that allows it to eat ghosts and I died pretty quickly.
Really cool entry!
I like the idea and something that definitely sold me on this game is the presentation. Everything just looks so squish and nice. The biggest gripe I have with the game is the "pacman" AI. Sometimes it would very slowly move around corners, or just run into some random direction, which wasn't very engaging, as I could stay in one place. At the end it also just ate one doggo, and stood in place not moving for multiple turns. Overall though, I had fun with it and concept is creative, could be expanded into a solid project, congrats on making an entry!
I like the art of the game and the way you design the camera. Great!
