I like the idea, and the game is well made, but the implementation felt too close to just a regular shmup. The power ups did not feel much like a bullet hell to me. Also, after seeing what the first powerup did, it took 90 seconds before the second one spawned, which was way too long.

I have had a good time!  I'm looking forward to see if you update it in a post jam version! good job!!!

A fun idea! I would say that it got a lot of potential and I think this is a well thought trough idea for this kind of jam. The main issue I found for me is that I did not really get my own orientation in a good way when my mouse aimed and I moved with WASD. For me personally I would go for a W and S control only and make the movable direction to be in the look direction. But its mostly for my own liking

But it is a fun game and I think you can go far with this if you continue working on it and adding small bits and get people to playtest. Keep it up and Im thrilled to see this expand!

The game is quite fun, the only problem I have with it is I don't understand if I'm supposed to get more of the green powerup, or if I protect it or what.

Great job on the visuals and polish. However, I felt that it played like a standard top-down shooter and loosely fits the theme. Still, quite enjoyable if it's judged solely as a top down shooter.
