Really nice game! I love the art, and the audio really helped hammer down the stressful feel of trying to get the last few sets in before the time runs out. PB: 10

Thankyou! I do really enjoy working on it, so in the near future I hope to add a lot more content and polish to the game. Glad you liked it!

The game seems really well polished for the time given. The rules were a lil hard to get, but after that I had a lot of fun. It got really hard really fast, but I'm not great at the genre so it may just be me. Great job!

Thankyou very much! I was heavily inspired by Balatro, and had a lot of fun making the art, so I'm delighted you liked it

This is a really cool game! The art was nice, though a lil confusing like others said. I also couldn't really tell what pink did. I know it said it healed, but it didn't seem like my health changed, maybe im crazy though. Great job!

This is a really nice, clean game! I loved the art. The gameplay got me way to stressed out lol. Did find the audio kinda annoying, I think something got bugged or my headphones broke. Overall great job!

Really nice little game! I did feel it was kind of weird I would die from stopped bullets, but other than that it was fun. I also loved spam shooting and seeing which angles got me closer or farther, sort of like a puzzle game

I liked trying to go as fast as I can, but noticed issues with controls in Fullscreen for some reason. I was pretty bad at it tho. PB: 12

This is a VERY polished and well-made game for such a short time span. I loved figuring out the order needed for the levels. Great job!

I planned to add that, but ran out of time sadly :(, but if I continue the game that's one of the highest things on my to-do list

Thankyou! I usually focus less on audio, so I’m glad you liked it

Very polished jam game! Usually with these sorts of games it gets very repetitive quickly, but I didn't really get warn out ever. Was a lil confused for a bit but other than that yall did great!

I love the concept and artsyle! I do think it's a lil repetitive but other than that it's a very nice, small game. I would recommend adding something to see your total time at the end though, in order to compare scores.

Very well polished and intricate game! I liked trying to figure out when to use my fate and on what. Shuffling the deck felt a lil overpowered for the cost, and I broke the game through one of the major arcana, but other than that I had a lot of fun playing it

Thankyou, I was gonna add music but ran out of time. I think piano would work well. Glad you liked it!

I did notice it was really important to get wines when play testing but had trouble proper balancing them with cards. It's interesting to see you got that far with mostly wines though, because I always went from red wine -> metal  -> kings in a good run (Assuming I get those options). I'm glad to see it has a couple semi-viable options. I think I might change the rng to act like a proper deck in the future, rather than being closer to dice, which should make it less frustrating. Thank you for the feedback!

Thankyou! I ran out of time for a proper tutorial, but I'm glad you eventually figured it out.

Great Concept! I love the art and audio, but I did find it to be a little slow without increasing the amount of stress. Overall great job!

I'll have to do a lot of bug fixing after the jam. Thankyou for telling me!

Thankyou! I had a lot of trouble balancing the game given how much RNG played into it, so I'm not surprised you struggled too. Usually I had to play really hard into the high damage at the cost of chips to get past round 4-6. I'll probably come back at a later point and add more content to balance the game out a bit.

I really like the initial art, and the concept is really unique. I did find it really difficult on what I was supposed to do at first, but after a bit I got the hang of it. It also takes a while for the music to come in.

Great job! the beyblade theme games are SUPER common, but this is one of the better ones I've seen. I really like the idea of using  health for other things, and I felt that the music and visual effects really added to the gameplay. I did think that some of the sound effects were pretty repetitive, but the music helped against that. Also it was super laggy for me, but I wasn't playing on chrome so that's my bad.

Really nice, simple game. I love the art and color scheme, and the audio was nice and cozy. I did get into a couple of scenarios where the trucks were near impossible to avoid, and one time there were trucks on top of other trucks. Though overall its really fun. Great job!

Definitely an incredible entry into the jam. I loved the art, audio, and items. It felt great to launch enemies at insane speeds, and have myself fly at insane speeds.

The amount of stuff and polish in this game is incredible for the time limit. Its really fun to play and looks great. The amount of things the player can do almost adds a sense of exploration for a bit in which the player tries to do different things and combine abilities. Great Job!

I really liked the game. The game was really smooth and easy to play. However, I did think the speed of the player was a lot to deal with, and sometimes I would miss due to the little bit of movement that the racket had. Loved everything else though, and had really fun gameplay.

Best game in the jam hands down. WILL name my future kids after it. The slide thingy was really fun to try and climb up, and the visuals were great.

Really enjoyed the game, and the visuals really helped show what to do. Despite that, it did still take me a while to realize how the game worked. Audio is also a huge downside, but time constraints can be really hard to get around. Never ended up really feeling like I was improving the computer either, but I think that was part of me not quite understanding how the game worked. Amazing theme and concept though, would love to see an improved version.

It took me WAY too long to figure out how the game worked, but had lots of fun after I figured it out (3:25 was my pb)

I liked it a lot, especially the visuals and the audio worked surprisingly well for how repetitive the game could get. With that being said, the last two enemies were incredibly hard to hit, with one being mid air most the time.

I’m glad you like the style! I was very happy with the art and theme, as well as how many interactions I could have between the tiles.

Here's my game: https://itch.io/jam/theveryseriousjuniperdevgamejam/rate/4719907

Have fun and good luck with your submission!

Thankyou! I was very proud of how nice the spinning and pull animations fit in.

The theme is incredible, and the controls worked really well. I found myself having lots of fun trying to avoid the boss and sprinting to finish and order. I do think a bit of a tutorial would help, as couldn't tell what to do for the first minute or so.

I'll have to check out yours. Here's mine: https://itch.io/jam/theveryseriousjuniperdevgamejam/rate/4719907

BTW, it's ENTIRELY mouse input, but it doesn't have to be accurate or "good" inputs.

I tried to play your really cool looking game but couldn't get out of the maze :(. Music and art was peak though.

The game is incredible, and overall, I think this is one of the better games I've seen. However, getting hit can cause you to lose almost all of your life if you get juggled around. I also did get to a point to where the truck was just a white box, but that's just a small bug I noticed.

The theme is great, and I like the enemies a lot, but the flail was very finnicky at times. I may just be bad at it tho lol.

The controls were very fun in my opinion, but the goal of the game and the cameras could use work.

Thankyou! I was worried that the mechanics would be too complex without a notable tutorial so that's great to hear.
