I unfortunately coudn't get the game to run on my PC. I was looking forward for it though, your idea was amazing!
Hey tioanon, I have reuploaded a working web version, now that the voting period has concluded. If you're still interested in seeing the idea in practice, feel free to give it a play!
Thank you, Matt. I certainly will.
That's amazing! Congrats, Matt. You had a really clever Idea. Life is hard for NPCs in stealth games hahaha!
Sorry dude. Love the concept but the game won't run.

I can't get your game to run, unfortunately. I really wanted to play it, too.
I was actually considering making a game pretty much exactly like what your description says this game is, but decided not to because I was afraid it's scope was too big for me in just 48 hours. I really would've liked to see someone actually pulling it off.
If you end up fixing the download link after the voting period ends, let me know. I want to see this game.
Thanks, will do!
I think itch might have broken the raw .exe, as the file I uploaded runs fine but after downloading it again (which I really should have tested during the jam haha), it doesn't run for me. Uploading was pretty rough, I also didn't know how to make a Godot 4 web version work.
Thanks for your kind words.
Hey UwertaDev, I have reuploaded a working web version, now that the voting period has concluded. I hope you enjoy it!
I really like it!
The main reason that I decided against making this kind of game when I was considering my options for the jam was that I didn't think I'd be able to make a good security placement/route planning UI in the allotted 48 hours. It looks like you managed to get around that issue by finding an alternative that didn't need you to make a UI like that at all, which was a super clever way of saving valuable time.
Had I made this game, I probably would have made it so that, once the guards and cameras were set up, everything was AI controlled and happened on its own. I think that, had I done that, my game would have suffered from it. It was really nice being able to control the goons and have something to do while the agents were attacking. It probably would have been kinda boring if all you could do was watch, and I doubt I would have realized the source of that boredom in time to fix it before the jam ended.
Overall, I think you did a great job. You made a fun, engaging experience better than I probably would have. I don't really have anything negative to say. Well done!
I can't get it to load for some reason, I really want to play this game though. Please update after the jam ends :)
Sadly my build broke when I uploaded it, and I didn't have the energy to go back and fix it (the jam ended at 5am in my timezone). Especially frustrating, as I literally just had to tick one checkbox on the upload form to make the web version work :(, and now I have to sit on a working build for the next week.
Hey cjgunnar, I have reuploaded a working web version, now that the voting period has concluded. I hope you enjoy it!
This was a great experience. My favorite part is the intensity when you have so many alerts and you are scrambling to reassign guards. My panicking brain wanted a push pause but I think forcing real time response is the right move. Great job!
Can't run the game :(
Please make sure your submission has game files inside it and not just the exe.
Can't get the game to run for some reason..
