A very cool idea, though I found the jumping-off-blobs mechanic a bit wonky: the first couple times I tried that, I missed the other blob by a few pixels and didn't connect, concluding that this wasn't possible. Only after reading the comments here did I realize what the idea was.

Yes, I think maybe some sort of tutorial would have helped the game. It's very nice with feedback because I think this will make me have a tutorial for my next game jam. Thanks!

I like the idea and the way it looks is cool. There's something very satisfying about leaving a trail of blobs behind you. A tutorial would have helped me but I get why you didn't include it.

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, maybe we could have made an optional tutorial, but I don't think we had the time for that haha, but if we develop this further after the jam, we will probably include it! :)

Awesome take on the theme! The idea of being able to jump on your previous selves is really cool. Solid mechanic and fun levels! Great game.

Developer

Thank you!

Loved IT! A tip for making the jumping on the other guys easier, make them fysical objects that update each frame. This way they are move like actual usable platforms!

Developer

Thanks! Maybe we will try that and see how it would work, we wanted the player to be able to fall through the other guys as well as jumping on them, but maybe it would be better if they were just solid platforms (╭ರ_ ⊙ )

Inspired idea. Some tutorial text would have been nice but as soon as I realized you could jump off your own guys I had a blast. Would love to see this developed further.

Yes, we thought it would be more satisfying to figure it out for yourselves so we skipped the tutorial. Nice to hear that, thanks!

Really cool and fun concept! Initially thought the cute little guys were only there for the aesthetics but it turned out to be the main part of the game. Great job! :D

Thank you!

Nice one. Hard sometimes.

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, the later levels were maybe to hard.

I played first stage thinking 'yeh it's cute but what's the point', but when I figured out how this game works it was brilliant. Nice job! Control can be improved though, or maybe I'm just bad at the game.

Developer

Thank you! I don't think you were bad at the game, I think the controls need some improvement haha :)

Super fun concept! I think this has a lot of potential!

Really unique idea! Realizing the mechanic is a great moment, and the level design really works with it well! With some improved movement controls and visual clarity, this could go a long way!

Developer

Thanks! Yes, maybe we will work on it more after the jam :)

I immedietly thought it was supercute! Especially when I realised how to use the main mechanic. Level design is spot on! It was a bit unresponsive to do jumps on other blobs. For a solo project, the game has amazing charm.

Developer

Yeah, I played it again after reading your comment and I noticed that it was hard to jump on the other blobs sometimes :O Good feedback, thanks alot! :)
