How does your game fit the theme?
Instead of a single entity, you have to manage one or more flocks of turrets that fly around controllable waypoints. Those flocks can split and regroup.

This game fits the theme so well! So very creative! Using flocking to control not an AI, but a player is really neat. The game itself looks very clean and plays smoothly.

Overall pretty neat take on shmup controls. I think the biggest thing the game could use is a difficulty that reacts more to how well the player's doing, early on certain areas of the screen are basically impassable without the tighter controls of your average shmup, but once you get a swarm going enemies just get blown away a little too easily. I think the simplest patch would've been to lower enemy turret fire rate and adjust the number of enemies spawning based on how many player turrets there are. Still, I had fun, good job!

Yeah when I designed the game I wanted it to be kind of a race (basically get turrets or get rekt) because I wanted to avoid players being able to play it safe with one or few turrets, sadly I didn’t manage to get enough comeback mechanics in for either side which means that whoever does well initially is basically who ends up on top.

I’ll definitely keep the number of turrets into account when adding some balance changes though, it’s a neat idea!

Funny concept ! The challenge is there. I've got a bug when a turret popped into a enemy ship. All ennemies have disappeared.

Great concept and super polished game! Honestly, I do not know how you did that! Amazing ♥
