I liked the game but got stuck trying to get to the end. Good music, graphics and adherence to theme!

This is a bit like Hack&Slash and Baba is You, right? Took me a bit to figure out! I'm always impressed by games confident in letting you mess with their internal workings. I liked the character, reminded me of old Windows 95 games.

I've never played Hack&Slash, but I definitely did take some inspiration from Baba is You. The more direct influences on this game were games like Gunpoint, and the Little Big Planet wiring system.

Really interesting idea! Changing the game world is super meta and cool! The music was a tad loud and ramps were hard to work with sometimes, but the concept and puzzle design were great. Nice job!

I'm definitely very proud of the amazing puzzle design (probably the best puzzles ever designed, if i do say so myself). I had the most fun designing the level which said "press up to softlock". very enjoyable and well-designed puzzle imo.

i actually really like the concept of manipulating the values of the game like the y positions of objects, the gravity scale, and what not. i think that if the values of each device were known beforehand and consistent it would be a very interesting puzzler. although controlling those aspects of the game felt a bit disconnected and that 8-bit rendition of the "lick" was a bit too loud, it's still a pretty cool game with potential :)

I did originally plan to include a system where you could mouse over a device on the screen, and it would show you what it was connected to, but I had a lot of problems with creating the UI for it and making it work with the screen (not overlapping the play area etc.), so I decided to scrap it and only show the influences of the device you were currently connected to.

and yeah, the lick was a bit too loud.

Really fun game! I have a soft spot for games that let you control the rules of the world itself, and this game definitely delivered on that!

I had a couple thoughts about the new player experience:

1- I didn't see any description of the controls anywhere. That was a bit of a problem, as the "up" button only seems to do anything when you're linked (the first puzzle took me far too long to solve.)

2- The resolution on the Web GL version of the game seems to be a bit too low for the on-screen instructions. (I happened to hit full screen before starting, so it wasn't an issue for me, but I could see players getting a wrong impression from that.)

Overall, though, these were minor things compared to how fun the game was!

I'm also a sucker for games with mechanics which allow you to modify the rules of the world. The idea for this game was heavily inspired by my time with Gunpoint & the Little Big Planet Series' wiring systems.

I definitely think the mechanic could have benefited from being explained better (or being explained at all), but it slipped my mind during the jam. As for the main menu, I started creating it about 1 hour before the jam ended, due to poor time management.

Really nice idea, kind of remind me of Portal but in a 2D pixel art version. I had some issues with the controls where the bots get jam to the ceiling but overall it's was fun and original to play, a  great game, I like it !

The artist for this game did say he was going for a portal-like aesthetic early on in the development of the game. It seems to have worked!
