I like the designs of the enemies. Next, maybe increasing the characters walk speed would enhance the experience! Good work!
I thought it was a pretty neat game. I was surprised to see scratch was the game engine that was used. Scratch did however feel like it limited how polished the game could have been. The ending was also pretty confusing to me. But I had fun playing it. Good Job!
I feel like you still have a lot of growing to do as a game developer, but this is a great basis to grow from! I enjoyed playing, even though some exploits made it a little easier than it was maybe supposed to be ;)
Great game. I would say that you could explain what the goal of the game is inside of the game, and to also be clear on how to play and what you are looking for. The enemies seemed to just appear on top of me at times when I enter a room so maybe that's something that could have been slightly adjusted too. I really liked the audio and the sort of maze that I had to go through to get what I needed. Very clever idea.
Didn't think anyone would actually use scratch for a game jam! Good result, but as others have said, the health system does not always trigger when it needs to and the controls are difficult to use.
A solid game overall! It was a little tedious running back through previously completed rooms and the hearts were sometimes hard to see with red on red.
Great job completing the jam!
The concept of finding parts of a key is interesting but the controls feel rather clunky and the heart system is way too lenient with getting a heart back from killing an enemy. Overall, good job for a 48 hour jam.
