Pretty interesting take on the theme, it's quite a cool game you have here ! It looks like a shmup but the dual-ship mechanic makes the control and the gameplay really different. With a bit of polish that could become a great game !
One thing that I would change though is reduce the amount of health the enemies have. It takes a bit too long to kill them, and reduces the pace drastically.
Oh, well done! This is tremendously fun to play and well presented. With a little polish this'd be a proper saleable game.
you guys have something absolutely gold here. i absolutely love the concept. please carry on working on this, its almost perfect in every way. edit: sorry for the spam my network is slow and i clicked post like 5 times
Fantastic job with this game! It seems you knew the exact scope of a game you could pull off in the 48 hours, and you took a fair amount of time polishing it and making it feel fun to play. The concept is also a really interesting take on an old genre, and at least for me, it was ridiculously fun to play with. The fact that you can also choose your own skills to match your playstyle also adds a lot to this game. The only thing I could never figure out is what "F" did...
Seriously though, I think I've sunk somewhere between 3-5 hours into this game these last two days. It's well made, challenging but (usually) fair, and a lot of fun to play. Awesome, awesome job with this one!
Also, I tied your record :) http://prntscr.com/15irm6c
Damn, never thought anyone would like this game this much! I greatly appreciate it
Great gameplay mechanic! It was satisfying to smash the enemies by swinging another spaceship at them. I can really feel the impact of the swings. There's even playstyles to choose from.
The only problem I have is that there are a little too many buttons to remember. I never remembered to use press 'space' or 'F'.
Great work!
The spin mechanic feels quite fun + the control for the game is smooth and very responsive. Honestly, the only piece of feedback I can give is enemy AI. They mostly sit on 1 place and shoot which is not very challenging in the long run. In rest, a very good and fun entry.
Fun game, a cool twist on the mechanics, reminds me of Hammerfight!
announcement to all gamers, my record is wave 31. If you want to torture yourselfes, go ahead and try to beat it
really unique and fun game play and it also has an insane amount off replay ability.
very cool
I really like this! I've never seen the swinging mechanic before in a bullet hell type game and I think it's really fun and pretty challenging. I'm overall pretty bad at this game haha (I couldn't get farther than Wave 6) but I would've liked a high score/highest wave record tracker just to keep track easier. I liked that the waves switched it up a bit with different enemies in each one as long as you've 'discovered' them. The swinging is really tiring to keep up though haha
thx for the feedback, yeah kinda annoying Having to keep spinning. Atleast the "spinner" style, makes it a bit esier
Haha I wasn't complaining! It was really fun!
Really like the art and music, great job!
Swinging the space ship feels like swinging a medieval flail, just in the future, i guess?! The game was very fun and am amazed that you implemented different game styles.
The ultimate is the most fun. Unfortunately, i couldn't fill the bar that often, i usually died first. Perhaps you could also let the bar fill over time. This way, you could also reward player's who play bad.
Apart from that, i enjoyed your game. Great work.
game!~~ wwww
Pretty epic man, me like ;D
