I did it! I beat the first level! I like the idea, with some more time spent getting the flow and feeling worked out, I think people would have a much easier time getting the chained climbing going. Even slowing everything down even more than it already is might help. Either way, it's an interesting concept, good job!

neat idea, but very awkward controls. not helping, I got one of them clipped into the floor trying to get on the first platform

collision in general is busted and it seems to be impossible (or at least not very clear) to get both characters on a platform. Also, nothing stops you from switching between characters mid-rope swing, which makes for some wild positioning shenanigans.

Developer

Thanks for playing! You're supposed to be able to switch mid swing. The collision was a nightmare though, you're right. It's the first thing I'm revising! Honestly, you should see the mess I wrote! Lol

But having something like this happen? Did you intend this? (please forgive my initial harshness, I forgot the 48-hour time limit)

Developer

Kinda. I noticed that and meant to go back and make sure the rope broke but I lost time trying to stop the clipping through platforms (you initially went straight through them if you were swinging).

I honestly didn't think you were being harsh, just pointing out flaws, and that is absolutely fine and to be expected.

The idea is that when you switch one character freezes and the other can use him as an anchor point, it's the only way up to the next platform. I've just done an awful job of conveying the idea (based on the comments).

Wow this was really hard for me but it still is fun! =) Didn't manage to clear the first level though^^"

Cool concept the first level is kinda hard for me lol

What a head-scratcher! These kinds of puzzle-platformers I find really tricky. Ashamed to admit it stumped me on getting to the end of the first level. Perhaps if the mechanics were slightly less "touchy"? I don't know any better wording for it. Even without getting past, I spent a surprisingly long time having fun messing with the momentum-based mechanics and flinging myself with the rope. The quantum-entanglement theming was interesting, too. Good Job!

Thanks for playing! The controls need some refining I agree, it took me way longer than I anticipated to get the rope swing working and i couldn't get it any smoother in time to submit. I guess that's always the way with jams though!
