Very good fun. I wish the game focused more on being taken apart and put back together, but you made do with the time given.
Some of the physics of the game feel jittery or delayed occasionally, I think probably due to the way the game is rendered in certain locations. I could also definitely cheese the levels by jumping back and forth and somehow gaining an unreasonable amount of height, which I could use to just sail through some parts.
Presentation-wise, very well done. Cute animations, readable style, and the mix of 2D and 3D is well implemented. Good job!
Great art style, 2D/3D perspective reminded me of Worms Revolution, good vibes!
I find it difficult to learn jump high and also tried to kill slimes. There was long scene of jumping and dodging slimes where I retired, but still somehow, I want to know what happens next…
Final thoughts: It’s impressive how this was possible to create in this time windows and game has potential to have release after this game jam. Waiting for adding this game to my wish list.
Ohhh wooow awesome some game, love the art and the concept of join the skeleton
Really good game! I love the mix of 3D and 2D art styles, almost giving me a "Legend of Bum-Bo" vibe. My only critique would be the controls, as they can be a little floaty at times and hard to grasp at first. But once I did get a hang of the controls, oh the places to go...
Pretty cool concept of joining back with your skeleton and the presentation is unique and fun. Are you supposed to be able to smash the slime and kill them because I just kept getting sent back to the checkpoint and I could not figure out how to get that extra jump.
nah, we were going to implement that but had other priorities.
I really liked the art I think that this is the best looking game I played so far, but I had some problems with the torso jump.
Really fun experience overall. The graphics look great and it's very fun to control the character around! The biggest issue in my opinion was the torso jump. I find it difficult to use (granted, I'm not the best gamer). Also, (spoiler alert) when we first get the torso, there are a lot of coins going up to an unreachable platform fooling us into trying to jump on it by using the new unlocked jump but we actually need to go back. That was tricky to solve ^^ Other than that awesome work and congratulation!
I like the 2.5D look and the Skull controls, but I just couldn't figure out the jump after getting the torso.
Works like Marios crouch jump if you wanna give it another go. Shift > release shift > jump
