I really like how this game looks! I kept losing my fish when jumping, they just flew away, it was fun to see but also a bit frustrating to lose them all haha! But overall great job, I enjoyed playing! :)
This game looks really good, love the design of it. I found it impossible to get past a certain point, but not sure if that was just me! Really cool concept, and would be nice to see it have that final polish to make a great endless runner to play for a few minutes at a time!
It's a pretty fun little distraction - 5 minutes well spent, it was fun!
There's a few things you might want to address though:
1. There was a series of rocks around the 200m mark I came across that I really struggled to naviagte through, as the first rock would then cover the whole screen and make it impossible to plan a path through.
2. I had a strange bug on my first run. Not sure how, but I jumped, and my fish shot into the air, only to fall back down about 30 seconds later... I wish I had a gif...
Nice entry though!
I definitely want to make the rocks turn transparent when the player passes them. Like in Stardew Valley. I also think the game needs some tuning in terms of the difficulty ramp, I’ve never made it past 400, except for that bug.
I’m glad you enjoyed it for a few minutes. That was my goal, just a few minutes of time.
I think I might tinker around learning how to make a water shader and multiple camera layers etc, but I’m not sure this game has much potential other than learning.
Thanks for playing and reviewing!
I think I ran through everything and the game is still running counting up distance while I type this message, even though there is only the sky on the screen, hahahaha. I like the models, and the mechanics are solid enough. No innovation or sound effects, but that's the cost of a game jam I suppose, hahaha! Good job!
Thanks! I just noticed that bug myself. How far were you when the bug kicked in? There is sound and sound fx in the download version, not sure why the web version doesn't have audio. I am thinking of polishing the game after the jam, do you have any suggestions?
Nice spin on the endless runner genre! Had fun with this one
Good idea, nice graphics!
It's a bit confusing, but after playing I understood that my goal is to collect fish and go far.
Some stones are difficult to see or you do not know if by jumping you will be able to avoid them or not.
It's also a bit frustrating that the fish are so random and kill themselves.
It is original and the visual part is very beautiful!
If it had sounds it would be perfect

¡Gracias por jugar! Definitivamente necesita un tutorial y algunos ajustes. Definitivamente aceptaré su sugerencia de hacer que el pez sea menos frustrante de proteger. ¿Tiene alguna otra sugerencia?
Really like the graphics! The joining mechanic could be improved.
True. Would some screen shake / sound fxs help? What else would make the joining mechanic more effective?
Nice graphics and fun gameplay!
The mechanics for joining the fish together was a little weird, but good consept.
How does it fit the theme?
The audio is not working on the browser version for some reason.
