Wow, harder than I thought it would be!^^ Once the controls are rotated it becomes really tedious.

But it was quite fun nevertheless. :) The rules are simple, quick to understand. Maybe the timer could be put more clearly on front: I didn't understand at first why I was loosing. My only regret might be that I haven't seen all the effects, because I kept losing early.^^'

Overall it was pleasant. Nice work!

Thanks for the feedback!

In hindsight I  think making the timer appear over the player or having it flash as it gets close to zero would make it stand out more in the overcrowded hud.

Damn the pace of the game is good. Or should I say.... wait for it...... "Outta control" XD

But seriously though, the game runs pretty smooth and is super responsive. One suggestion is that maybe make the changes in controls or whatever that happens in the levels a bit more apparent. The simple white text in a jittery font, I believe, doesn't gel well with the pace. The player needs to know instantly what he wants to look at.

Great job overall. Had fun playing it. :)

Btw mate, check out my game and tell me your views yeah? :)

I'm happy you liked it!

I totally agree that the text isn't as eye catching as it should be, I used the trick Mark talked about in one of his videos where the text dissapears before it changes but you really can't tell after I added the zoom effect to level transitions.

Visuals are fantastic! I feel like an option for an easier difficulty might be good, I ran out of time very often, then again maybe I just suck at it haha. Overall awesome game!

Developer

Thanks!

I think the difficulty isn't just too high but also really uneven. Some modifiers are too much for even me lol.

Really cool idea! I loved the player sprite, it's so smooth and good to see, the sound is really good too, but it needs a little bit of polishment, when you get shoot for example, I think the players moves way too slow that what should be supposed for him to walk to really makes it difficulty, but in overall, it's a really good game!

Developer

Thanks for the kind words!

I was afraid that players would ignore the bullets completely if I set the players speed after getting shot too low since you only get stunned for little more than a second, but maybe I overcompensated too much.

HOW TO PLAY:

Reach the animated green platform to progress to a new floor. Whenever you do this a new modifier  will be added which makes the game harder to control. You move with the W, A, S and D keys but some modifiers will change this, keep an eye on the right hand side of the screen to know what buttons do what.

You lose when the time displayed on the left hand side of the screen runs out, picking up coins and finishing floors will increase the amount time you have.

The game is pretty buggy so if you end up spawning out of bounds remember that you can respawn at the intended spawn location by holding CTRL for a second.
