Pretty good concept.  The levels could use some more features to them (like spikes or something) to keep them interesting. The coconut seems like the best way to get around because it's way faster than the rope, so maybe some balancing is in order.

I did enjoy using the rope, but I had a number of issues with it. First, you're able to get into the walls with it, which happened to me almost instantaneously when I first started the game. The it happened again multiple times on my last run while I was getting used to the rope. The second issue with the rope is that it seems like it needs finer control on the length. I was at a point where the adjustments I was trying to make to the rope always made it either too long or too short for the gap I was trying to make.

Thanks for the feedback! I hope I can flesh out this prototype to a more polished game. With a few days more, we could have fixed those issues you encountered.

It was difficult to get used to, but once I figured out how to use both of them well, I got so far away I never saw the wall again. I just closed the game evenutally. I wish the game either got more difficult somehow, or that the fire wall would catch up even if the player got exetremely far ahead.

Also, it feels weird that I can't go up or down the rope when I am touching a wall at all. I could understand if there was an object between me and the grapple point, but not in other circumstances.

I didn't have time to balance the difficulty curve so the wall was exponentially faster, so the mastering of mechanics makes the game really easy.

Thanks for your feedback!

I got 208! (How'd I do?) Really neat idea, and a fun game. I got the hang of the hook eventually, I think what made it difficult to use was that I couldn't always adjust the length of the rope (I can't tell why though), and there were lots of time where I would grapple the ceiling, but then land on the floor and I struggled to get myself off the ground.

When the level started looping it was actually kind of fun to go through it again, but this time taking new routes, or mastering old ones! The music was fun too! A game based on moving about solely using a grappling hook is a great idea, and I would love to play more games that do that. Good job!

Thanks for the feedback! I'm really happy that you liked the song.

About the mechanics: I hope to do a full game based on these mechanics but polished and with more modules to traverse. We got problems mid-development that slowed us down A LOT. That being said, that pesky bug with the rope length couldn't be fixed in time, there were not as much rooms as I would like to had, and I couldn't balance the lava properly (right now, with enough practice, you can flee super fast from the lava, like 2 minutes of difference before it being super fast and challenging)

The hook shot is too difficult to use for its own good, I found myself using the coconut launcher most of the time.
