Character movement was nice (though, not the focus of this round!), definitely quickly felt very samey - not sure if there was a secret nugget to get find there, but it did sort of give me Overlook Hotel vibes (ie The Shining)

I was shocked by how good the character model looks when I looked down. I appreciate the generous sprint stamina. Good work.

The files just doesn’t work. When k download it it says I don’t have the right software to open ot

Developer

Try to run it as administrator or download one of these https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170 , if the game still won't open then it might be a computer issue.

I think its a computer problem. Im sorry :(

Developer

No problem, anyway thanks for leaving a review :)

I think a map or some decoration around the environment would help massively with navigation. Like the idea and design, maybe a condensed version would make it easier for the player to experience all aspects of the level?

Just an edit to say the water effect in the parking lot was spot on!

backrooms are open topic which means there is no real canon, but i was trying to make a backrooms game that was using the most original source, which is backrooms wikidot, so the level designs are based on wikidot version of the backrooms, although i could've added outlets and wooden things that are on the most walls of level 0, and better texture for walls in level 2

i will probably add more decorations in future versions of the game, thanks for leaving a review

the game looks great but there it was hard to know what to do until i found the no clip wall i then went to a garage thing and saw a monster which barley did any damage but its good i would to see the idea being improved upon

Developer

yea i think i should've added objectives so the player knows what they're doing

i tried to lower the damage the entities are dealing because they were overpowered, especially skin stealer because it's harder to attack him without losing health
