Explain how long it took you to make your game.
About a month. I gathered a bunch of assets a while ago (this game has been rolling around in my head for over a year) but once I buckled down to make it, about a month. I got major work done over the Thanksgiving holiday, and my goal was to get it done by December so it's timely to the subject.

learned something about kwanzaa so thats cool had kid book vibes which is what you were going for very different from what i expect when i think of a game but interesting. some of the art didn't go super well together. I really respect what u said about buckling down and getting it done Great job :D

Very well done short narrative game.  A good example of edutainment. Like others, I had a glitch with me being able to click on a object more than once and it being counted for the total. This game seems like it is a professionally made project for a school. I'm an adult and I learned a lot about something I had only a faint familiarity with. Keep building your experience with making these kinds of games and I think you could make some really special projects.

Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad you found it both educational and enjoyable.

Well, it's certainly education and has major children's book vibes.  It does what it set out to do well.

Thank you!

Awesome stuff! This looks really nice - when I first saw this entry I thought it might be some bot entry or something because it looked so polished lol.

I loved that it's a narrative/story-driven short game. This is very inspiring and makes me think about similar types of concepts I'd like to try myself.

One piece of feedback: it seemed like I got through a couple of rounds w/o having actually clicked on everything? Not actually positive though.

Thanks for playing!

Thanks, as well, for the comments, especially the validation for short, polished game experiences! I know longer games are the norm, but I often don't have time to play them. My Twines are a bit longer, but hopefullyl interesting enough to finish (nad still relatively short compared to other narratives).

I'll check on the object picking. Hopefully that didn't detract too much from the game.

Not at all! Yeah, I think there's actually a good place for short narratives. There's so much out there, sometimes it's nice to have a smaller commitment haha :)
