I played the game twice, one for familiarizing the controls, one for serious play, ended up getting over 10000 points.
Fun game, I recommend you making a mobile version
I was interested in the overall theme and wanted to figure it out, but it's a little difficult without instructions or a tutorial. It does have a nice top-down look to it though!
