Seems really nice. If it gets more polished it has a lot of potential. I like the quiz at the beginning of the game but unfortunately I can't finish the game because I'm not so good at it and because "meow" is too OP for me xD

Love this game ! You had a very good idea with the test in the beginning ;) Just a little little thing : the character turn on himself when you jump so it's a little hard to move forward sometimes :/
But anyway congrats for this game !
I liked the beginning cutscene. I also was laughing real bad when i heard the first sound in the game. (If you gonna play the game, take off your headphones, i'm deaf for the rest of my life rn). However, I agree with most of the guys, that the platforming part is a weakness of this game. Keep it up bro and you gonna be a great game dev!

After the first part; the game gets very hard for me.
pretty interesting visuals, nice to see an alternative artstyle being used in a game! also for the audio, i was in the same boat as you a while back xd, i suggest using bfxr, it allows you to tune your parameters and get a good 8-bit sound!
I like that you used the tv static effect too. Neat concept for a game, but I could not get by that "MEOW" no matter how many times I tried.
In regards to the music, it did not bother me, though I can see why you suggest not using loud volume or headphones. If you want to replace it with something similar (but less piercing), there is a person on OpenGameArt called PlayOnLoop who releases Creative Commons music in a Nintendo style that sound a bit like this current sound track. I have used their music myself a couple time and all you have to do is credit the creator.
