Great work, i realy enjoyed the gameplay.

Struggled with commands at start but once it clicked it was a fun little game. Great work!

Thanks! When voting ends I have a small bugfix update ready, I recommend to try it again somewhere next week ^^

Submitted

Will do! i'm interested to see what else will you implement. Good luck! :)

nice, I liked game design

Very cool concept. It took me a minute to figure out the mechanic, so I would recommend some guidance at the start.

Developer(+1)

100% right! I have an update ready for after the jam to adress some part of the tutorial & bug fixes

Submitted

Awesome! I'll revisit it then

Submitted

Fun concept! It could use a bit of polish and a tutorial.

Developer

Hi there!

Both are definetly true! If I update the game in the future ill keep this in mind!

Submitted

Really fun game! The overall concept works great with the theme and the presentation is very nice! However, the planet resets every time I look at the dictionary and go back, but other than that, Great work!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I wasnt aware about that bug, since it are global variables. if you make an action after you return, does the values update to the right amount? cause it might be that the text is not updating after re-entering the scene

I loved your game, I would love your feedback on my car racing game too.

Developer

Thanks! I'll also check out your game

Diggin' the concept of terraforming and manipulating the environment of a planet. The art is crispy and typing commands combined with drag and drop was a cool mechanic! Squash some of the bugs mentioned in the comments, add more commands and you'll have something spicy.

Developer

Thank you!

I would have loved to make it bigger, but our development cycle was very rocky due to my artist having some private life matters, and that we switched game play halfway development because the old system didnt feel right.
Maybe in the future we'll revisit the concept and expand on it!

Very cool concept, but I did鈥檛 understood how to make it work

I manage to spawn things typing but didn鈥檛 look that it was doing anything to the planet

Developer

Ahh! You have to drag and drop the things you spawn onto the planet!

Developer

I also tried your game, if you ask me: potential winner

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT - you have not selected the genre game jam 7 in gdevelop for this game if this game does win it will not be applicable. other than that the game is good.  problems:- progression is very slow, storm does not work, ui is not ui-ing?.  other than that really innovative game.

Developer(+1)

Hi Billota!

Thanks for mentioning the genre, I didnt know about that requirement.
The game is/was supposed to have more events, which would speed up progress. Storm not working wasnt known here! After the jam I'll look if i can fix it, since updating isnt possible in the maintime.
What you mean with, ui is not uiing?

Thanks for the compliment on the innovative gameplay! I wished to have it larger, but during development my creativity blocked and I couldnt think if more meaningfull content to add. might revisit in the future!

Submitted

ui not ui+ing means ui is not polished enough to get full points in the ui category refer the game jam page. to see the criteria, and yes creativity dies a few days into the project, for my project the last 5 days was adding tweens and making the crosshair rotate. 馃槀

Developer(+1)

Ahhh gotcha! Yeah UI could have been more refined and polished for sure.
My development time was.. challeging.

1st artist abondend the game after 2 days, new one started, then the artist had private life issues and fell out for 1,5 days etc etc...
This was my least smooth jam so far.

Next Jam I participate in I'll make sure the UI is more fleshed out, and to add a tutorial also.

Regarding creativity: usually I make a GDD and start making it, and usually something good comes out of it, this time I changed the entire gameplay loop after 3 days, didnt make a gdd and got stuck on the meaningfull additions :/
Will revisit the game in the future, since the response im getting about the concept/idea being good motivates me to see if i can make it a tiny bit better... at minimum ill repair the storm bug xD

Thanks for the advice, I had no Idea you had to do that on gdevelop lol
