Thanks for the compliment. Like stated in the description both my artist werent available during the jam.
We're now making an after jam version of the game (with loads of improvements!) and we'll change all the art for the final release.
I totally agree that the art should be changed.

Its indeed a simple game and concept. Im actually porting this game to mobile also, and will release it on the appstore once finished.
I think the game has potential to be released as a full game myself

Well, it would check collissions indeed, but since they start colliding when there are just a few spawn, the instances never get very high. I think it will do wonders. All the yarn instances + opponents is really doing a heavy toll

I LOVED the concept, but the games has some game breaking bugs, and its unclear what everything is (do the colour of the little characters affect something or is it just cosmetic... for example)

Goddamm.. played this game for way to long.. but the lag is getting crazy after a little while, tip for next time.. when the red yarn/ blue yarn is close to each other, make them automatically combine, resulting into a bigger yarn build. this will lower the instances on screen massively!

So far the best game ive seen, altho the start is really hard.

The shooting mechanic is extremly hard. I love the creativity tho <3 !

I agree, its the most basic of games, although i can imagine with two players it could be fun to se whos the fastest clicker and race.
I recommend the developer to try Gdevelop 5, its free, open source, also visual scripting (and if wanted java script) but a thousand times bigger and more in depth. Its what I use and it lets me make basically everything

Mouse was indeed not allowed, outside of menus (aslong as it doesnt alter gameplay).
Also the scores arent live updated when the cards are drawn. I do however really love the art

If youre open for it, I have a little dev team working on teams together, we can use a sound engineer. If youre open for it i can send/post a discord server link for it

Thanks for the feedback! I wasnt aware about that bug, since it are global variables. if you make an action after you return, does the values update to the right amount? cause it might be that the text is not updating after re-entering the scene

I would have loved to make it bigger, but our development cycle was very rocky due to my artist having some private life matters, and that we switched game play halfway development because the old system didnt feel right.
Maybe in the future we'll revisit the concept and expand on it!

Level 15 is my best so far... and i didnt even know about mixing spells!

Ahhh gotcha! Yeah UI could have been more refined and polished for sure.
My development time was.. challeging.

1st artist abondend the game after 2 days, new one started, then the artist had private life issues and fell out for 1,5 days etc etc...
This was my least smooth jam so far.

Next Jam I participate in I'll make sure the UI is more fleshed out, and to add a tutorial also.

Regarding creativity: usually I make a GDD and start making it, and usually something good comes out of it, this time I changed the entire gameplay loop after 3 days, didnt make a gdd and got stuck on the meaningfull additions :/ 
Will revisit the game in the future, since the response im getting about the concept/idea being good motivates me to see if i can make it a tiny bit better... at minimum ill repair the storm bug xD

Ahh! You have to drag and drop the things you spawn onto the planet!

Thanks for mentioning the genre, I didnt know about that requirement.
The game is/was supposed to have more events, which would speed up progress. Storm not working wasnt known here! After the jam I'll look if i can fix it, since updating isnt possible in the maintime.
What you mean with, ui is not uiing?

Thanks for the compliment on the innovative gameplay! I wished to have it larger, but during development my creativity blocked and I couldnt think if more meaningfull content to add. might revisit in the future!

How to beat the ball one:

The little striped thingy in front of the white square, drag it of the screen. Then it will be possible to drag the balls into the white square and win the game.

Well, maybe make the movement speed something you can upgrade by buying it, and then add the sensitivity slider on top of it.
Or make it automatic that in the easier levels, the acc speed isnt this quick

The acceleration sometimes seems to be to much for the period you press the button. also there should be more incentive to avoid the falling fruit, the debuf of it hitting you isnt big enough now
