Hi everyone. I'm keen to enter this jam. I'm a sound designer in the UK. I work full time but I can commit to evenings and weekends. I've not got any experience with chiptune or 16-bit audio but I reckon I could give it a damn good shot. My sound design reel:

If you didn't find a team before the jam starts, you could make a concept album for a game of your design. Put in a simple 160x144 png of a crossword and that can be your "game". That would be such an interesting and unique entry.
