Amazing! It has te feeling of the original spelunky.
With something small like, one or two power-ups, life as a drop, and a point save system... this game will be as perfect as it could be

Developer

Hey thank,s I'm really glad you liked it :)
I'm planning on adding more stuff to it eventually, but life caught up with me after the jam ended, so it's gonna be a while probably

Please do not abandon this project and keep up the good work already done!

Developer

I might pick it up again eventually, but for now I need a break from assembly, and some time to work on smaller projects. I'm really glad you like it though :)

Great project, the controls are so crisp and smooth, and the map generation is really impressive. Thanks so much for posting your source code, I can't wait to do a proper code review!

Developer

Thank you for checking out my project! I just saw your stream earlier, and I am very flattered you liked it! You also found a few bugs I forgot to properly fix, like the level counter... oops! That's where lack of proper testing gets you, I guess!

I am both excited and scared for you to look through my code, but do let me know when you plan on doing that!

I'm looking forward to it, and have fun ;D

Gave it a whirl on my GBA it's a pretty decent reproduction of the game! Nice stuff. Shame the colours are quite dark so it's hard to see on the GBA SP

Developer(+1)

Yeah, I made the colors way too dark before I could do a lot of testing on real hardware... I might have to tweak the palette a bit if I revisit the project later on
