Bugs found

If I mention any bugs in the comments of a game I play, is that seen as negative or helpful?

Basically, should I mention them or not?

Personally I'd like them to be mentioned to me so I can fix them

That's what I thought too, and would appreciate them mentioned if people found them in my game.

I just don't want people to think I'm dissing their game, when all I'm trying to do is help.

That kind of feedback is essential. Games made in 10 days will almost always have bugs, and fixing bugs is an art you only learn through experience. What better opportunity than a game jam!

Thanks for your response. I agree. Just wanted to check, in case it was seen as disrespectful.

yeah i'd like to be told if there are bugs in my game, i've already been told of missing features which i will update after the jam closes to improve my game so that players of it later will benefit! if you are pointing out bugs then that is good feedback!

Thanks. I just want to see other people's views, as I was concerned it may come across negative or disrespectful.
