Interesting concept with some nice ideas. The retro art style is cool. I think it would benefit from a little more guidance, and when picking items up with the mouse they get dropped constantly. Good job overall.

Fantastic game. Level design is especially great, and the art is really nice. The controls are very responsive (although personally I would prefer Spacebar for jump, because my brain just doesn't like Up as jump apparently, lol). You've done an amazing job. Well done.

Thank you. I'm glad you liked it. The music and sound effects are from a bought asset pack, but I think they fit the game pretty well.

Thank you. Glad you liked it.

Really great fun. The difficulty is a tad harsh in places, but causing a little frustration is obviously intentional to fit with the story. The mechanic is cool, the art is nice, and the dialogue is inspiring. Top stuff, well done.

Thank you. The switch mechanic was a pain and took up too much time, so unfortunately there is admittedly a lack of content. Glad you liked what was there though. I'll have a look at your game now. I always try to play every game from anyone who comments on mine.

Absolutely brilliant. From the art, sound and music, to the puzzles and dialogue, all amazing. Has to be a strong contender for winning this jam in my opinion. Fantastic work, well done.

I really like the theme, the motivational messages are great. The graphics are nice and suit the tone of the game really well, and there are a good variety of mini games. Well done.

I'm glad you liked it. To be honest, I just threw the last level together just to try and make the game slightly longer, just because I ran out of time. I also had sooo many problems with the switch mechanic that I'm just glad I got it working well enough to have a playable game. Thank you for the feedback.

Thanks for the feedback. Glad you liked it 🙂

Nice and simple idea made into a solid, enjoyable game. Great work.

Nice concept, and it looks like it took a decent amount of effort to put it all together. I had the same issue of not understanding the mirrors section. Great job though. Well done.

Pretty solid all round. A nice amount of power ups and enemy variations. The only thing I would recommend changing is that the homing bullets don't change course so quickly, they are the only thing that seems unfair. Great job overall, well done.

Yeah, the concept was definitely better than the execution. Thanks for the feedback.

Nice idea. Timing the jumps was challenging (and a little stressful, lol). Well done.

Very nice, unique concept. The pixel art is really good. The platforming is very clever, but extremely difficult to control. Great job.

The mad puzzles at the start were great, and the platformer part of it was pretty solid. Great job.

This was really good fun. I enjoyed the little tasks and the dialogue. The pixel art is great, and the blackout was a nice touch. Great work.

I like the idea, but found it confusing throughout. After watching the video I see what you were going for. Good effort.

Nice idea. I enjoyed it, but no matter what I did I couldn't go to lunch. Overall, good job.

Good fun. Nice concept. The collection of mini games is great. Great job.

Really great, chill game. Puzzles were nicely put together, and the mini narrative is a nice touch. Well done.

Thanks. I wanted it to be precise on purpose to make it more challenging, but I get where you're coming from. Appreciate the feedback

Thank you. Glad you liked the concept

Are we allowed to fix bugs and reupload the game for the jam?

(1 edit)

Thanks. Now you've mentioned the infinite jump, I know exactly what's causing that. I changed something to fix a different bug, which did not get fixed, so now I've ended up with an extra bug that I caused myself 🤣

Just started this and it seems fun and well put together. Haven't had chance to play it properly though yet as I wanted to make sure I rated it before the deadline.

A nice little game with decent level design. Music and sound effects are a good fit. It seems that you can't open the chests though (unless I'm missing something). Good effort.

Nicely made stealth mechanics. Really enjoyed this. Great stuff.

Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.

Great concept and very well made. I really like the fun quirky characters. Visuals are great and controls are solid. Well done.

Great fun. Well presented with solid controls and a nice humourous tone. Top stuff. Well done.

Great concept and really fun. I think the visuals and sound effects are great. Well done.

Cool little puzzle game with a clever mechanic and nice visuals. A lot of fun. Great work.

Thank you. So glad you enjoyed it.

Glad you liked it. I'll look into adding indicators. Thanks for the feedback.

I'll be playing your game tomorrow. While I'll play some randomly selected games, I'm making sure to play every game by anyone who comments on mine.

Thank you. I will be continuing with development after the jam, and intend to include a few more ideas, including the ones you mentioned.

Very nice idea. I like the timing element for jumping. I couldn't get past the single block platforms, but I will be back tomorrow, must try again. Great work.
