Congrats on your submission!  A networked tower defense would probably have required a dedicated server to work properly.  I do like the idea y'all had though.  36 ants defeated! :D

Towerless Tower Defense sure is a new genre ;P

Pretty clear time ran out here, would have been fun to see what towers the team came up with, but trying to get networking in a game jam is very ambitious !

Also think I ran out of ants, after 36 were killed, no other ants spawned anymore. I guess the sandwhiches are safe at last !

LOL fabulous way of putting it.  Kind'a like the Vampire Survivors of TD!

In truth we simply removed the UI explaining controls to switch weapons so the towers are still available along with bombs.  We didn't get them animated or their shots visualised.  Think '1' allows you to place 1 tower (we had anticipated gathering resources to allow building more) and '0' places bombs that don't affect the ants cuz they were intended for destroying resources!  Then '2' switches back to the sword.

For us, the challenge was to submit _something_ by deadline so last 30 mins was just cut cut cut!  Gonna always remember this one since funniest was not noticing we'd cut the thing that we'd named it!!!

Hmm... guess I could add some of this to the description in case anyone wants to see a kids' drawing of an ice-lolly and spoon catapult!
