Interesting concept, very nice job with implementing the theme. I think it would be great to add a tutorial on what is the actual ideal bacterial environment and teaching how to figure this out. But with the time you had nice work!
The game really nailed the theme. No notes. For the mechanics I second another comment mentioned a more investigative approach instead of a collection 5 guesses.
Love the concept, visuals, and sound! Feel like having it be more "investigative" rather than just adjusting and getting 5 guesses would be more fun. For example, a microscope to zoom in to the bacteria to get specific stats on their speed/size etc, and an encyclopedia of the different bacteria with expected ranges in stats so you have the extra task of figuring out which bacteria it is to narrow down where the sliders should be set. Lovely game though :)
Interesting mechanic, but I can't seem to see the effect of pH.
Well made game.
