cool concept - and I really like the actual file name;-) but may I suggest, that you got a "tiny bit" overambigous with the scope of the game? like... a 3-story house? and another multi-storied house? how many consoles did you want to recreate there?

oh no.. there is a talking duck in the game? totally missed that ;-(

Unfortunately we didn't have much time to fix them. and yes, we wouldn't add easter eggs. xD

Amazing game, the 2D game is really good. Although I was almost on the edge of quitting the 3D game. Probably someone said it before, but you could add a message at the beginning of the 3D level telling the player to explore the world and come back to the console behind you. I had to quit and start your game 3 times to really understand where to go. The second time, I realized "Oh it's called stuck in console... that must be the trigger for the 2D world that everybody is talking about", with no success as you can see in the image. Only after 3 attempts and more than 10 minutes exploring the 3D world. By the way, you should tweak the collisions with the walls and the gravity for jumping.

Unfortunately, we didn't have much time to fix them, maybe we can add tutorial videos in the future, but it will not be in jam. thank you for playing our game

No problem! I still loved your game! Thanks for submitting!

Pretty good! I don't want to repeat the other comments, but some kind of fetch quest in the 3D world would've been great before starting the 2D game. The art is really good and I love the Undertale sound effects. If you continue this, I definitely recommend making the 2 worlds play off each other.

thank you, we couldn't do much because we didn't have time

Nice entry! felt like there should have been at least 20 seconds more content before we jumped to 2D; since you obviously spent some time making the first area. Nice level design; felt jarring being able to walk over houses though. For the King!! well, guess not? ;)

Fun game to play; I am guessing the next step was to get the boss fight working and then you jump back to the 3d world?

Developer

you summed it up perfectly, some things had to be like that because we didn't have enough time, but thank you for playing

Loved the 2D environment. The 3D part may have further use if you decide to continue with this game. But as it stands, i can't see much relevance to it other than giving the narrative an aspect of dimensional travel. Maybe have a static image instead of freeroam if the use of the room is that limited. You probably spent time you didn't have developing that part.

The graphics are nice, the aesthetic is consistent, the music and the mechanics were doing what they were intended for and come together nicely.

I do not know what the function "bend" was for? i tried to use it but i don't think it worked.

Developer

thank you for your comment i will definitely keep this game going

This was an interesting game and the controls were pretty smooth. I spent alot of time wandering around the 2D world.

thank you so much :)

Reminds me of "The Faery Tale Adventure" (1988). I don't often play 2D but this had the same vibe. Quite charming, but conversations are a bit annoying. Well executed, in particular the contrast to the 3D world really sells the 2D theme. Obviously not 'beginner' skills here (don't bother looking at my submission). Sehr Gut!

Thank you for playing our game.  We didn't have much time doing it during the jam process.  This is how we had to make the game.  please rate the game ^^
