Nice game! It strikes me as a kind of vertical flappy bird, but I like how the little backstory fits the theme. Controls and other mechanics are solid.

Really fun, short and sweet game! Loved the art, loved the biblically acurate angels :D Level design was also fun.
The only I would try and fix is that camera background, either by changing the camera ortho size or atleast changing background from that dark blue to black for example to be easier on the eyes.
But that's only a small misstep with such little gorgeus and fun game! Great entry!

And with the background you mean the part at the bottom that shows when you die?
I just had to launch the game again to find out that I missed that, we did think of making the heavens gate go high enough to mask that on the top but I've forgotten that the camera goes down a bit more when you die.

I meant this to be exact, it can be especially seen when playing on full screen in gameplay scene as well(at least on my resolution since it is 4k). But as I said just a minor issue
Ah!, I hadn't expected people to play in full screen since I didn't check that option on the edit page. :) It seems to give the option anyway so I changed the background.

It was a lot of fun to think about enemy design and you can see the progression I had in the 10 days. The bliblical angels at the end were my last project, which were a challenge to say the least. I'm glad you liked them!
