Survived after drowning several times with 1261 gold :D.

After I sank, I had no gold left for new cargo, so I was either carrying very little cargo or an empty ship, but somehow when I sailed to port, I received gold for the cargo I didn't have :).

Cool idea with balancing cargo and transporting it! I love pirates, so it was fun for me to float and avoid danger on the water :).

Beautiful graphics and music that complement the game!

Maybe a multiplayer or cooperative mode, where you compete with each other to deliver the cargo faster - would add interest to the game :). And in that case, what are swimming without guns and shooting :D, and what about boardings? :D

It was fun, congratulations!

Thank you! Yes, there are some bugs with the money that we'll fix after the jam ;)
We've got quite a few ideas that we hope to work on after the jam, but we didn't think of a multiplayer, will need to give that one a good look :D

Wow really cool game. The pixel art is fantastic, the music fits the game very well, the sound effects are great (I love the dash sound effect), the whole game idea is cool and it really feels like you are steering a big boat! Maybe the collisions felt sometimes a bit unfair, as I collided with the green stuff even if I did not touch it. I think the hitboxes might need some adaption. I would rather make it too small than too big. It would be also cool if the character is animated (walking animation).

Congratulations to this very cool game! Very well done! Your game is the highlight of my rating session today: https://x.com/Stiggstogg/status/1919848406006083837

PS: Cool to see some fellow Swiss folks (or at least people based in Switzerland, as I saw "Geneva" on your webpage) participating in the jam. Greetings from Züri Oberland :).

Thanks for playing, and the shoutout on X! We'll have a look at those collision-boxes, because I agree that too small is better than too big. There's quite a lot we didn't have time to do during the jam (including animations on the character ;) ), we're hoping to keep working on this project and make it into a full-fledged game, so that feedback really helps!

PS: Ja, voll cool es paar anderi schwiizer i de jam dsgseh!

I can fully relate to that :). At some point you need to cut the scope in a game jam, but I think you made the right decisions and the main gameplay (riding the boat) feels really good.

PS: Ah, soger schiwzerdütsch au no :). Cool.

loved the graphics! I dont know why but my game kept getting stuck and had to refresh it a few times to play it....most probably network issue but I was able to play it after all! :D

Absolutely amazing! One of my favorites till now! Wishing you the best! 🙌🙌

Thank you! First time we heard about someone having to refresh the game (we've tested it on chrome and firefox and it worked well), happy you managed to play at the end!
