Cool idea here, the theme take was a nice change of pace that really matched the vibes of the game and music nicely. The ui was a little hard to read but I think I got the idea. Would love to see more from this game!
Nice idea, and good game! Especially liked the music. However, to be honest, wasn't a fan of 2d art and UI. They were too pixel-ly. The gameplay overall was good though.
If you don't mind, could you check out my game?
Thanks for trying it out. I did check out your game, pretty tight gameplay!
You seem to have found an interpretation of the theme that everyone else missed! Congrats! I have to admit, I didn't like tapping as the salmon but that's largely due to my rsi. The game had an idea and executed it. Good job.
Loved it. Simple clean challenging but rewarding. I have nothing to add other than I wanted more. Kudos
Thanks a lot! Glad you enjoyed it.
A strange take for sure, I dig minigame collections though. Definitely a lot of ways to interprit this one. All lives have certain tasks they want to complete no matter how simple or complex, fulfilling their goals is my job as the player. I have the ability to fufill each of them, does that make them equal? As a game, it is definitely pretty short, which isn’t nessecarily a bad thing, but it feels that there could be more gotten out of the mechanics you’ve made (specifically the first and second games). It’s definitely the sort of idea that would really shine if given more time to work on it, but nicely done getting it to this point.
Yeah, we could only begin on the game about three days into the competition so it left us a little short to fill it out but we hit our minimum scope with a little bit of polish. Thanks for trying out the game!
Cool concepts!
A bit too philosophical for me, but it is an interesting take on the theme :) The game feels strange to play, but in the end it is somewhat compelling. Nice work!
This is a fun interpreation of the game jam theme, transforming it into a metaphorical experience. I'm not sure what the connection was with the rhythm-mechanic segment, but otherwise, a short but sweet experience.
We were just thinking of different task to do as various organisms, and what their goal would be in order to ascend to the next state. As a human we thought it'd be fun to play as a philosopher engaged in a dialogue with someone else. I'm glad you enjoyed it, I'll check yours out too.
Had some trouble reading the titles but had a lot of fun! I think this game is perfect for the theme. My feedback would be that the fingers aren't on beat in the last game and that it's a little short but great job for the time you had.
Thanks for the feedback! It's too bad the music isn't synchronized, we managed to get it working on some computers but it seems like its a frame-dependent issue we couldn't get over. Still, I'm glad you enjoyed it and thanks for playing.
