I really enjoyed your game! Like some others have said, reminds me a certain other game. That is not a bad thing, though. It was done really well.

I do wish the game had some keyboard support. I luckily have a controller, so it was not an issue for me. However, I think it would be beneficial to have more options.

Overall, nicely done!

thanks! And yea i wasn’t really trying to make anything other than a clone of super monkey ball, but I realize that won’t get me points for game jam ratings tho

And people keep saying they wish there was controller support but honestly I really don’t want people to play it with keyboard cause to me monkey ball just doesn’t make sense with digital controls. Again not great for ratings but i don’t really care lol cause I think the experience on keyboard would be so much worse

Really polished cute game! It took me a few tries to get the hang of it (I don't think I've played the original before) but I slowed down a bit and it was really fun. :D. The graphics and audio were great - well matched to the game. Nice work, I enjoyed this!

Fairly well polished super monkey ball game. The audio captures the wacky arcade-vibe and the dog was pretty funny too. I struggled a bit with the gameplay but that's more me than the game. Requiring a controller may have hurt you with getting reviews a bit but luckily I had mine on hand so it wasn't a problem. Not sure it really fits the theme well but it's a fun game to play regardless.

A very competent SMB type game, well done. I like the choice of cute mascot. I beat all the levels, and I think the variety and difficulty were just right for a jam. The music was relaxing and a good fit for the genre as well; did you compose it? There's also a level of polish to the UI here that really makes a difference for the better.

I am not sure if I liked the way the camera behaved, I think the immediate effect on the camera's rotation to the map's tilting response was a bit too sensitive and got me moving in a circle when I didn't want to. I also think the general movement sensitivity was a bit too much, I never felt like I had to use the full range of my thumbstick.

Overall, well done!

thanks! And yea I made the music. And good to know about the camera sensitivity

I love super monkey ball! Very nice clone! And impressive jam game too! Nice work.

Quite interesting little game! The type of game where taking it slow makes things easier.

But it also seemed like difficulty of some levels was jumping up and down.

It was quite a nice SMB clone. The difficulty ramped up pretty quickly though.

Fun game! Congrats

The game was fun, but I was a bit sad that there wasn't anything to differentiate it from super monkey ball except the assets. I also don't know if any part of this had to do with the scale theme.

Developer

very valid! Yea I really just wanted to make a clone of super monkey ball lol but I understand your criticism. And it’s kinda a loose interpretation of the theme but the weiner dog is shrunk down into the ball hence the giant trees

It's a challenging game sometimes. It's very fun and enjoyable. Good work!

It's a really cute game. I really like the style. The controls are a little unforgiving, especially with some of the awkward cusps between platforms - but it's all part of the challenge.
