Actually, it not too hard to make basic controls for mobile gaming, but you might have noticed that sometimes a touch is not registred. This is probably because there are muliple simultaeous touch events. However, I didn't have time to dive into this problem.

The only diffence is that in my game the player influences acceleration instead of velocity. I don't know which is best.

My game is very simple since I had to do everything myself with very limited resources, but I had fun and I learned a lot so it was still worth it. I know a lot of things could have be improved such as the UI. The game development is still in progress.
