Played an impromptu game of this with a friend, using the back of a pamphlet as a game sheet. It was a smooth, cool experience. Turning the page into the next chapter was always exciting and we had a great time creating the tragic story of our orcs, who were raised from the corpses of Lannians, grew to form a thriving society and were ruthlessly murdered once they were no longer useful.

No game is perfect, but this seems pretty close in doing what it sets out to achieve. I could think of a few changes I'd make to fit the way I write and play games, but the changes I'd make would probably be different to the changes someone else might make. All in all, I can't wait to pull out a notebook and give this a try.
