  • First off I'll say the art and presentation for this game is so fantastic! Gameplay took a minute for me to figure out, but once I did it got a little same-y pretty quickly and I was able to pretty easily hit the quota by day 4. I think as a kind of clicker game what this game could really use is a better curve for upgrades; as it stands right now the beginning starts really slow, then you're getting money faster than you can build upgrades, then in the last stretch you just wait until you can put another one of the most expensive structures down. I also think adding numbers or something to show how much value each structure was generating would be great. It doesn't feel as much like an upgrade if I don't know what each structure does either than "be better". overall, I think this is a great little game that could definitely be taken to the next level with a few updates
  • Cool esthetic ! Well polished and nice looking. The gameplay was okay but I wish there was a bit more strategy involved. It seemed like I just needed to wait to have money so I can make more machines that make more money, so it felt mostly about waiting. It wasnt super engaging. Great accomplishment tho, nice looking game well wrapped together.

Did you work alone, or as part of a group? (If in a group, list their names)

Reached the quota with a couple days to spare! I love the story intro and a lot of the visual flourishes you put on this one, though I thought the gameplay was pretty standard. Maybe that's just because of how many of these I've played this jam so far.

The core loop is quite mesmerizing, kinda nice to zone out with it. Though the intro gave me the idea that being mellow and zen with the game wasn't really the intent :D

I would love to see you come up with names/tooltips for the things you build. They're silly in a great way and I kinda want a name to go along with them!
