I expected a detective game but instead I found a zombie shooter with some problem solving. The audio and art style is however very good. The game levels are a bit too large and empty in my opinion.
The game is designed in a film noir style + mystery story. I'm not good at horror games so I can't play a lot. The route is complicated and you have to find the key to open the locked room. It should tell player to press start or enter button to start the game. I randomly touched the button several times to start the game.
Thanks for playing :)
Now that you're saying it, I see why it's not clear...
When the game starts, you automaticaly pick up a note wich open the File Menu. And you have to press [I / NORTH BUTTON] to open/exit this menu.
I like the style, especially the directional aim over the back lol, and the audio design was really atmospheric. I think the cartoonyness clashed abit with the scarier audio but not too much. The areas were a bit large for how slow the movement was, and a map would have been really helpful, I ran around the north area 3 full times looking for the 3rd key before realizing it was in an area I had already checked to the east. Also maybe a unique audio indication for the different results from searching, just so you know what you got without having to key an eye on the numbers. Very impressive for 7 days though!
Thanks for your feedback !
A map would be really helpful indeed, a member of our team managed to get lost haha
