I really like this games concept and it does a great job incorporating the theme! I did feel that after a while the game play became repetitive and I would like to see some more interactive things in the maze, different obstacles/enemies or something of the like, but overall a really cool idea and I love the worm art!!

Thanks for compliments and valid criticism

Nice! I like the crazy colorful art style, but I think you could've done more with the theme.

A worm out of frame is a hard worm to tame

You could say the worm has turned! Cool idea, I liked drawing the maps to figure out the maze. I honestly wish it was just 1 big level instead so I could make 1 BIG MAP (I like big maps)

Developer

I mean with this many suggestions I don't mind releasing an big level update in the future :).

Thanks for checking out ma maps and also playing the game

The idea is good, but I didn't understand its rules quickly. It's very, very, very difficult, and I didn't complete any of the stages because of their difficulty, although they are consistent with the topic.

Developer

I think it's funny how the game is hard to handful of people yet too easy and requires a big map to others 😂.

Just goes to show the power of preferences/strengths.

Sorry, I'll definitely look towards learning how to make a tutorial level to introduce mechanics. Thanks for playing my game.

P.S Not trying to downplay or discredit your struggle, just wanted to point out a silly paradox

The idea is cool but I do wonder if a calligraphy mechanic is the right fit for a game like this. Just going through the levels without thinking it would probably be faster and more efficient every time. Which isn't a huge knock like I still used it one of the last levels just to engage with the game fully. but it definitely slowed me down.

Calligraphy as a mechanic would probably work better if there was one big level, so that it's easier to get lost and there's more need to consult a map. This would require changing the game a lot but it's something to think about.

Still I enjoyed this game. It's definitely unique.

Definitely agree with ya buddy. I was tempted to create huge levels for the game, but since it is a game jam, I held back. I would love to see a ver. of this idea with labyrinths for levels. Thanks for trying it out; I am glad you enjoyed  :)

I actually meant cartography* not calligraphy. But anyway maybe check out the game etrian odyssey, I've never played it but I know it has cartography as an important mechanic
