Theme (Ennemy)
Green Tail
Correlation to theme
Time signature changes and dissonance to keep the listener off balance, was thinking of them as an enemy in a game like Golden Sun

If you told me that this was an actual song from a GameBoy game I played as a child, I would have absolutely believed you. You captured the feel of video game battle themes and I think your clever metric modulations helped accomplish the feeling that battles often strive for where they try to subvert your expectations to keep the player on their toes. You also have a memorable melody in the part with the Andalusian cadence that feels really satisfying every time it returns. Thank you for sharing!
What a journey...
I found the start very hard to grasp, as if the time signature was weird and continuously changing on me. But then.. I did hear some banger pieces in there!! The result became a song I really wanted to finish listening to as it was really cool, yet hurt my brain at the same time! Quite awesome I'd say.
It is definitely quite cool and creative, I gotta give you that ;). Well done.
(though, would you mind uploading an .mp3 along with it next time? Makes it easier for me to download your song instead of from soundcloud!)
EDIT: the more I listen to it, the more epic it gets (as my mind gets used to the weird time-sig shenanigans!). Sick entry!
Very well composed! Also extra points for using pico-8, great job!
Woah it's so cool, all the changements are so well made, it feels honestly like a pro song! Love it!
I like how it’s all 8-bit/16-bit sounds, yet I can hear the middle ages vibes.
Also I like a lot this type of music so…you get an (A)wesome grade.
