Hey, I got ALL the bonuses first time through without intending to! I guess I just think in a way that a chaotic Nopperabou would approve of. Super fun, even though I also had the issue where I guessed without the article and became momentarily frustrated.
Nice! And yeah, definitely will make that a bit more forgiving… :)
I loved the Japanese setting and premise! Great fun, and I'm pretty pleased with myself for solving the type-in puzzle too. Brilliant.
Thanks!
Great, great, great atmosphere. I didn't know about the nopperabou and was delighted to discover that under that shape (so to speak). It was as funny as it was spooky, and I even chanced upon some interesting moral discourse, which I didn't expect! Had the same trouble with the guessing puzzle as the others, but in retrospect it is not that difficult (though the first word should optional).
Great work! Now to play that Goose Game...
Quite polished, liked the setting and premise! Some of the middle tasks did start feeling similar, since they all sort of went the same way, but the last couple changed things up nicely. I liked the idea for the guessing puzzle, though I did also have trouble getting it (Didn't have the article). Felt bad for the Samurai! Liked the ending!
Bonuses I got:
Confess your true feelings.
Give the exorcist a bath.
Thanks!
I definitely need to make the puzzle a bit more forgiving–by the time I reached it I was close to my deadline and just submitted as it was. :)
This was pretty fun! I played it a few days ago, so I don't remember exactly, but I think I managed to get most things crossed off my checklist. That was a neat little system in itself. Haven't played Untitled Goose Game, so I might not've been able to appreciate the references/homages, but the game was entertaining on its own. My one gripe -- and it's really a minor one -- is the section where you need to type in that one specific thing. I knew what it was immediately, but it took me a few tries because I didn't know the textbox was case-sensitive.
Overall, though, great work!
Thanks! I’ll try to make that part a little more forgiving. :)
