I enjoyed playing this one. I went through it twice and found two different endings. It was atmospheric and mysterious and I liked that it leaves you to draw your own conclusions (or did I miss something?) There were a few unimplemented scenery objects, some of which seemed like they might be important, but for a first game, it's great!
Very atmospheric. I Iiked the haunted house feeling with all sorts of stuff happening around you that you're not in control of. I got two endings, one where I left early and another where I joined the agents but haven't been able to find the keys. (And once the house catches fire it seems you have to stop searching which makes sense!) I'll have to have more of a look another time.
This was great, especially for a first project.
Wonderful atmosphere and descriptions, and I like the engagement required to take photographs in-game. Nice!
This was really fun. And creepy. I found two endings.
After the mansion burst into flames, the game mentions agents to the southwest, but they seem to be missing when you go there.
Full disclosure: I banged out the ending text in the hours between 11pm and the 3am deadline, so I really should bugtest the endings more carefully tomorrow.
Important question: were you inside or outside the mansion when stuff caught fire?
Oho, I was outside when the mansion caught fire.
... but now I'm going to have to fiddle around to get it to happen when I'm inside to see if there's another ending I've missed.
Spent a little bit of time with this and got to the (an?) ending – I REALLY enjoyed spotting the references and wandering about in the atmosphere, which is captured extremely well. I NEED to know if there's a key. Is there a key??
Sorry, I stalked you a bit so I know you must be aware of the Apollo 18+20 project. When I saw this game on the list, it stirred this recurring daydream I used to have about giving Spirit Phone (including all the bonus tracks) the same treatment. Hmu if you ever want to discuss the feasibility of turning the rest of the best album of the decade into text adventures :-)
There are two keys in the game. Try looking under some things which someone might hypothetically slip a key under for safekeeping.
And hah, yeah! Discovering that project last year singlehandedly launched me into the world of text adventures/IF, which I wasn't even aware of before. Lemon Demon all-game-type jam when?
Cool atmosphere; I liked the idea of photographing things. However, I feel like I haven't been able to decipher it all... I'll have to try again. Good job!
