As other mentioned, the neutral's were confusing. At the end, no matter how good you are doing it, it seems a matter of time that you lose due to accumulating neutrals. It would have been nice to give them a way to be destroyed, maybe as normal tetris and getting a line of them to get them rid of?
I twist on the classic and the idea of the storm, even if sometimes I was getting a 4 line of either + or - and I was forced to put it horizontally to avoid the consequences hahaha
Nice to see a new take on Tetris. The audio seems to be having some trouble in Firefox, the music stutters and the sound effects sometimes have short popping artifacts. I try to line all of the blocks up so four connect, but they start attacking me and make the game more difficult. I see that I’m supposed to break them up to stop them, but I couldn’t do that with the pieces I had before I was ionized. The block design is nice, the different tiles are very clear. And the fall speed is very forgiving.
I was struck by the same thing as Loig that neutral tiles can never be removed. Also the randomization on some rounds seemed to put in a real bad spot lol.
Overall a solid twist on a tetris that made me think and I enjoyed the touches like the storm and busting animations.
Thanks for sharing!
To me, it looks odd that there seem to be no way to get rid of neutral tiles. This means that one will necessarily loose at some point even if playing perfectly. Maybe I missed something?
It looks like I made a mistake on the sorce repo link. https://github.com/RAshkettle/UN-ION
