Very well designed and fun game. I really enjoyed trying this out and lost count of which wave I managed to reach. I found a few bugs:
It is unbelievable that such an interesting game could be made in two weeks! I was very surprised! The game was fast-paced and the mouse controls were difficult, but I enjoyed it so much that I tried many times!!
Very addictive and fun! I'm really impressed with how much you managed to fit in. One minor complaint is it's kind of hard to see the countdown, especially after getting fully upgraded armour on the turrets
I am amazed at how well made this game is!
Nice and very addictive game! In the last phase I couldn't make up with setting equipments until the next wave comes, but probably this is the challenging part :-) Good job!
Nice game!
This really requires APM!
I like the fact that the waves are not following a usual path, there's no "level" but more like infinite scoring!
You have a nice variety of weapons and upgrades already, it is very satisfying to consume some of them, also the fact that the repair is free and just requires reactivity (sometimes your healing fighting the projectiles in realtime) is really cool!
Nice voicelines recordings, I'm aware of the backstory haha!
Few minor suggestions:
- It could be nice to have the upgrades/turrets accessible via hotkeys since it's apm intensive
- The description of item could have a better dedicated area I feel like, also when in Pause after pressing Esc, it would be nice if descriptions were still showing on turrets hover in shop, so that we can read peacefully haha
- Maybe seeing enemies from further distance could feel more comfortable (with a potential ability to zoom/unzoom when desired)
edit: there is a zoom actually, I just can't read
Great game again, I'm sure it could scale easily to more content, congrats! :D
Do the turrets have LoS or a maximal range btw? I can get "soft-locked" (not really, I could have sold my turrets ) in wave 1 or 2 haha
yes maybe I should add a radius . they have an aiming line of sight. and a shooting. I guess it's exactly in a spot where they can not shoot.
thank you for playing, and the extensive feedback. I tried to max out on replayability with the least amount of effort. so I could focus on other parts of the jam 😁
the healing is actually not free, but the income per second gets so high that you don't realize it.
hotkeys is a great idea. and not even so difficult to implement . you are right on the descriptions! I should focus a bit more on user experience rather Than code structure in the next jam.
There actually is a zoom! q and e. I had planned for making markers where enemies would be coming from, but unfortunately a day only has so many hours 😂
Oh right, there is a zoom actually! I didn't read sorry haha, great!
You're right, trying to max out on replayability without effort (I tend to do the same, then I focus on graphics haha)
Yeah, it's only a game jam, and it's already great actually! I just pointed out minor details, because everything else is nice to me haha
Hey, great gameplay! But can you say something about the assets? Did you create any of them yourself, or should I assume from the credits that they were all reused?
Thank you for playing!
I used some space-ship-building kit and then heavily adjusted from there on. And others i made myself.
This is the spritesheet I used, and adjusted:

Great strategy.
Not bad! Don't forget you can extent your building area
Yeah, I enlarged it to the edges of the map and researched everything, I just didn’t have time to shoot before the base was destroyed.
