This is a really cool game however I feel like it isn't getting the attention it deserves. This might sound weird but I think you need to do some marketing. You made a really cool game and everybody should play it. But if the don't know about it then how can they. Here is my advice:
Also you can edit the cover page: description, photo etc, just not the game. So if you wanted to you could do this right now.
Also this is just me rattling ideas off the top of my head
So at the moment you don't have a cover image. And as far as I can tell you are the only one who doesn't have one. Making some art or just a screen shot of the game play can make a great cover image. On the same note some screen shots would be good or even better a GIF of you selecting words and then shooting them. That way when people hover over it they get to see what the game play is like and they want to click on it.
Also your description could be a bit better: In the subtitle thing you should have some stuff explaining what the game is. Here is your own words but this should go in the subtitle "Word Battle takes is based on the idea of turning a traditionally slow, methodical single player experience, a word search, and turning it into an arcade style battle experience" and maybe cut it down into something like: Word battle: build words to damage your opponent in this high paced arcade style game. Or something like that. Then you should edit your description so that:"Word Battle takes is based on the idea of turning a traditionally slow, methodical single player experience, a word search, and turning it into an arcade style battle experience " is at the top not"Made using the Godot engine for the Dream Arcade Archive jam" I'm not saying you should remove this stuff but the description that makes it interesting is the bit of what it's about, and should be the first thing people see.
Also you should add some instructions in the description.
And if people still aren't playing the game and you want feedback try going on inde dev forums and asking for feedback or posting about it on social media, reddit. r/godot might be a good place. Also indedev discord servers are great places to get feedback.
Hi, thank you for the feedback both here and on the game page. I'm genuinely thrilled that someone played and enjoyed the game!
I think you're right about trying to promote the game a little. The lack of cover image was definitely an oversight on my part. Once I got a working submission I just fell into bed! Maybe this evening after work I'll try spruce up the page and write the description etc more cleverly :)
With regards to promoting on Reddit etc, that's definitely something I've always been a bit nervous of, but I definitely want to get more comfortable with, so I'll give it a go. I feel I definitely would live to fix up one or two things before I go doing that.
Your feedback has been great and highly appreciated if I didn't make that clear enough. I'm looking forward to trying your game out this evening and hopefully I can provide some feedback also.

Neat game. I included it in my Dream Arcade Archive compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)
This looks sick, but I sadly don't have anyone to play it with :(
