I think you're right about trying to promote the game a little. The lack of cover image was definitely an oversight on my part. Once I got a working submission I just fell into bed! Maybe this evening after work I'll try spruce up the page and write the description etc more cleverly :)
With regards to promoting on Reddit etc, that's definitely something I've always been a bit nervous of, but I definitely want to get more comfortable with, so I'll give it a go. I feel I definitely would live to fix up one or two things before I go doing that.
