Really love interactive VN's and it was so cute. I'd like the screen size to be a bit smaller but excellent work.

Developer(+1)

Ty! Big props to my teammate for the cute art really bringing out the writing too.

The artstyle was 15/10, and the writing was completely and utterly adorable. Loved the endings. Each one had so much love and fun nonsense in the background.

Developer

Thank you!! Really happy to hear ppl like my art 💕

Writer really pulled a lot of weight making the story cute and fun uwu)b

Please tell me you plan to upload the individual pieces on twitter or something. Your style is amazing!

Developer

Yes! I will upload to my bluesky.... eventually ahaha thank you for the interest! ✨ I'm unfortunately a bit of a chronic procrastinator ->

Developer

Thank you! Appreciate the compliment on my writing! Will use this to motivate me to write my fanfic soon! Also high praise to the artist for dealing with my never-ending requests for art and stills lol

This was extremely cute! The artstyle was 10/10, the dragoons had so much personality, and it had a lot of good references!

I was expecting branching paths with different endings, but it seems like I could only ever get the "Built Different" Ending so idk. Really fun little visual novel with a surprising bullet hell boss.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for liking the art!! Really appreciate you trying for the other endings too! Due to time constraints, the only 2 other ones that require u to pick passive answers only and will skip the boss battle for some yes/no option case reviews.

If u want to speed through it you can see the final 2 ending art go through and select options

  1. eat quietly
  2. turn down the offer
  3. warn the guard about the keys
  4. take full responsibility

Approve all cases for ending 1 and deny all cases for ending 2!

The artwork is incredibly cute!! I like the different choices you get for each event. So much charm with each scene!

The final boss threw me for a loop, wasn't expecting it. I was able to dodge all of the bullets quite easily.

Developer(+1)

Thank you, im glad you think so! The boss bullethell was completely made by the writer too hhh I also agree the writing turned out so fun ///

In contrast when i played your game i kept losing lives as soon as the tomatogoon appears! Maybe we shouldve made our final boss harder-

Developer

Thanks! For once, uni maths is actually useful and helped me code that bullet hell! If any future iterations for this game come out I'll make sure to bump up the bullet speeds and variance!

Very fun, good art, clever writing. I just wish the text box was a little bit bigger. I know it would cover the ilustration but that could be remedied by allowing to temporarily hide the text box.

Developer

Glad you liked the art! Ended up being unable to style the textbox due to time contraints of starting late but allowing the textbox to be hidden is a good suggestion :0c

Did you use a dialog plugin for your game or was the text box coded by yourselves from scratch?

Submitted(+1)

I asked about it. It was coded from scratch and it's a little bit scuffed, We couldn't make it change text and images at the same time. But hey, if it works, it works.
